In accordance with the decision of the Board of Trustees contained in Resolution No.77/05-06 dtd.27.01.2006 and Agenda item No.12(05)/2005-06 the water charges, security deposit and reconnection charges of PPT quarters and other than PPT quarters allotted in favour of Paradip Port Trust Employees/Officers, Associate Organisation, State/Central Govt. Organisation, Commercial Organisation, Public Sector Undertakings, Private Parties and Port users stand revised with effect from 01.01.2006 as per detailed statement shown in the Annxure "A". Further the security deposit and reconnection charges in case of defaulting consumer is enhanced as detailed below;

1. Water charges PPT Employees/Officers and
   C.H.Workers.                                                                        As per Annexure "A" at Col.-6
2. Other than PPT employees/officers, CH Workers.                     As per Annexure "A" at Col-10
3. Security Deposit.
a)All PPT residential Qtrs. Consumer excluding PPT employees/officers/Cargo Handling Workers shall deposit refundable Security deposit Rs.500.00 (Rupees five hundred)only.

b)Commercial Consumer shall deposit security three months average monthly demand in the prevailing water rate subject to minimum for Water Connection Rs.6000.00 in their site premises. (Rupees six thousand)only.

c)Reconnection charges for disconnected lie in case of defaulting consumer for non payment of water dues. Rs.500.00(Rupees five hundred)only.

d)Recovery of water charges from retired employees/officers/workers occupying PPT Qtrs. beyond the permissible period to be recovered in same rate as applicable to Semi Govt./P.S.U./Private parties as mentioned in the Annexure "A" at Col.10.

As per the directives of Government of India, to enhance the Maritime Security, all the Fishing Vessels operating from Paradip Fishing Harbour and in the close proximity of Paradip Port Limits, shall require to be registered with ISPS Cell of Paradip Port Trust. All the Fishing Vessels are to be painted in one colour as per the directive of the Paradip Port and the Registration Number has to be displayed conspicuously on the Hull. The proforma of application for the registration is enclosed herewith.

The Registration Process shall commence with effect from today and all the vessels must be registered prior to 31.12.2008.

License for Private Security Agencies engaged inside the port prohibited area by various Port Users shall be issued for the year 2009-10 on submission of followings:

1. Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar of Firms / Registrar of Companies, Govt. of Orissa.
2. Antecedent Certificates issued by Local Police Station for all the Security Guards.
3. Basic Security Training Certificate issued by a recognized institute.
4. An undertaking from the firm that all the Security Guards / Supervisors on duty inside the prohibited area shall wear Navy Blue Uniform with their company badges prominently displayed on their chest or arm.
5. An undertaking from the firm that all the security guards and supervisors shall undergo an in-house security orientation course to be conducted by CISF Unit, PPT
6. Submission of License Fees and Security Deposit as applicable as per the Port Rules.

As per this office Circular No-Even Dtd.30.10.2008 on the above subject, all the Security Guards and Supervisors engaged by Private Security Agencies working inside the Port prohibited area must wear Navy Blue Uniform with their Company Badges prominently displayed on chest or arm.This shall be strictly implemented w.e.f. 07th May 2009. No Security Guards and Supervisors will be allowed to enter the port prohibited area without the prescribed uniform.
