N O T I C E
As per the directives of Government of India, to enhance the Maritime Security, all the Fishing Vessels operating from Paradip Fishing Harbour and in the close proximity of Paradip Port Limits, shall require to be registered with ISPS Cell of Paradip Port Trust. All the Fishing Vessels are to be painted in one colour as per the directive of the Paradip Port and the Registration Number has to be displayed conspicuously on the Hull. The proforma of application for the registration is enclosed herewith.

The Registration Process shall commence with effect from today and all the vessels must be registered prior to 31.12.2008.

C I R C U L A R

License for Private Security Agencies engaged inside the port prohibited area by various Port Users shall be issued for the year 2009-10 on submission of followings:

  1. Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar of Firms / Registrar of Companies, Govt. of Orissa.
  2. Antecedent Certificates issued by Local Police Station for all the Security Guards.
  3. Basic Security Training Certificate issued by a recognized institute.
  4. An undertaking from the firm that all the Security Guards / Supervisors on duty inside the prohibited area shall wear Navy Blue Uniform with their company badges prominently displayed on their chest or arm.
  5. An undertaking from the firm that all the security guards and supervisors shall undergo an in-house security orientation course to be conducted by CISF Unit, PPT
  6. Submission of License Fees and Security Deposit as applicable as per the Port Rules.
The applications will be received till 1700 hours on 28.02.2009.

Permission for Boarding any Vessel for following categories shall only be given on recommendation of the vessel owner's Local Agents:
    (a) Ship Chandlers
    (b) Ship Repair Firms
    (c) Dirty / Sludge Oil Receivers
    (d) Cargo Gear Testing Firms
    (e) LSA & FFA Service Firms
    (f) Hawkers of any kind (Except Garbage collection Contractor engaged by Pollution Control Cell, PPT)
The Local Agents shall obtain prior consent of the Owner / Master of the vessel before recommending any firm and be answerable for any mis-deed on the vessel by these firms.

CIRCULAR

Sub:Engagement of Private Security Agencies inside the Port Prohibited Areas.

 

As per this office Circular No-Even Dtd.30.10.2008 on the above subject, all the Security Guards and Supervisors engaged by Private Security Agencies working inside the Port prohibited area must wear Navy Blue Uniform with their Company Badges prominently displayed on chest or arm.This shall be strictly implemented w.e.f. 07th May 2009. No Security Guards and Supervisors will be allowed to enter the port prohibited area without the prescribed uniform.
